Coiter, Volcher

Coiter also spelled  Coyter, or Koyter   physician who established the study of comparative osteology and first described cerebrospinal meningitis. Through a grant from Groningen he studied in Italy and France and was a pupil of Fallopius, Eustachius, Arantius, and Rondelet.
